Hancock Tower Window Replacement 1975

Hancock Tower Window Replacement 1975

Workmen near the end of their top-to-bottom task of replacing glass in the 60-story John Hancock Tower in Boston's Back Bay on March 25, 1975. More than half of the building's windows had blown out, fallen out, or were otherwise damaged and had been replaced with plywood panels until more permanent repairs were put in place.
