Rice School Students Visit Public Garden In Bloom 1926

Students from the Rice School stand beneath the Parkman crab tree, a Chinese crabapple tree prized for their flowers rather than fruit, at Boston's Public Garden on May 20, 1926. R.B. Smith, curator of the Barnard Memorial Branch of the Children's Museum, brought the fifth grade class on a tour of the Garden to see in life the things they studied over the winter.
