Homemade Ice Saw In New London 1981

Homemade Ice Saw In New London 1981

Two men used a homemade ice saw on Little Sunapee Lake in New London, N.H. on Jan. 11, 1981. Part of the saw used to be a 1927 Chevrolet engine. Older men demonstrated to the young how they used to cut ice and keep food cold, in the days before refrigerators and modern tools, during a celebration of the way things were.
